JOB SUMMARY

As an Environmental Engineer or Environmental Specialist, you will contribute, within the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team, to maintaining environmental protection by acting as an advisor and conducting internal audits to ensure environmental, organizational, and regulatory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal procedures related to environment, health, and safety
  • Apply and promote corporate policies, safety standards, fire prevention measures, and VESC values
  • Manage and optimize waste management: inventories, records, collection, storage, internal compliance, and regulatory reporting
  • Produce, analyze, and maintain environmental data: material balances, air emissions, emission sources, water consumption, environmental fees
  • Coordinate sampling, measurement, self-monitoring, and environmental data collection activities
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports and declarations (waste, emissions, WHMIS 2015), as well as internal and corporate reports
  • Maintain inventories of hazardous substances and ensure environmental training is kept up to date for teams
  • Actively participate in the development, implementation, maintenance, and internal audits of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 management systems
  • Obtain, renew, and maintain required environmental permits and authorizations
  • Act as a contact person with regulatory authorities on environmental matters
  • Develop, deploy, and monitor eco-efficiency and environmental performance programs (GHG, air/water emissions, waste management, recycling, biodiversity)
  • Monitor environmental noise mapping and control the addition/modification of noise sources
  • Continuously assess and improve the company’s environmental performance
  • Contribute to the development of innovative environmental technologies and initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education / Experience
  • University degree in engineering combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or
  • Technical diploma with environmental certification combined with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector
  • Knowledge of Québec environmental laws
  • Experience managing drinking water and/or wastewater treatment plants
Knowledge / Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) legislation
  • Proven expertise in the application of ISO 14001 standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Language skills: professional proficiency in French and English
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Assets
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 standards

JOB SUMMARY

As an IT AUTOMATION SPECIALIST, you will play a key role in the development, integration, and support of industrial IT and automation systems. You will contribute to infrastructure and production projects by ensuring system reliability, integrating industrial equipment, managing and maintaining data availability, and supporting rigorous technical documentation practices. Through your expertise, you will participate in the continuous improvement of operations, process automation, and compliance with cybersecurity requirements and industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the design, development, and management of industrial IT infrastructure.
  • Analyze departmental needs and implement automation solutions tailored to manufacturing operations.
  • Develop, integrate, and maintain automation tools, applications, and systems to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure the automation of production equipment and the integration of production systems, IT systems, and industrial databases.
  • Collaborate in the implementation and integration of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and support connectivity between industrial and IT systems.
  • Implement data collection systems and automated reporting tools to monitor operational performance.
  • Define, structure, and maintain technical documentation and a controlled documentation system for engineering activities.
  • Participate in implementing cybersecurity requirements and TISAX standards (including required health and safety records).
  • Contribute to technical analyses, the preparation of requests for proposals (RFPs), and the selection of technological solutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to automated systems and IT infrastructure.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, system integrators, vendors, the IT Director, and other stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and solution performance.
  • Participate in day-to-day IT activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT and industrial processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or
  • College diploma in Automation Technology or a related discipline within an industrial environment.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in automation systems and IT solution integration.
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Experience participating in automation projects.
Knowledge / Skills
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (.NET and/or similar technologies).
  • Knowledge of SQL / PL-SQL programming.
  • Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Assets
  • Knowledge of PROFINET environments and programming languages such as Java, PHP, Perl, and Python.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, particularly SAP.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Project Engineer, you will work as part of the Engineering team to support the design, integration, and continuous improvement of processes at our new Granby facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate in the preparation of technical specifications and project requirements in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Prepare and draft technical reports.
  • Monitor process implementation and oversee work acceptance activities.
  • Manage capital investment projects (CAPEX).
  • Analyze and recommend optimization solutions aimed at improving existing systems and processes.
  • Create, document, and maintain work practices and procedures.
  • Provide technical support to a multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in equipment commissioning, testing, and the transfer of systems to production.
  • Monitor equipment performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to company expansion projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Ideally, 2 to 3 years of project management experience.
Knowledge / Skills
  • Proficiency in French and professional-level English (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of Autodesk software tools (AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret process diagrams (P&ID, PFD).
  • Demonstrated communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills when working with colleagues, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • High level of professional ethics, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and proactive approach to work.
