This privacy policy (hereinafter, “Privacy Policy”) describes the personal data that from or about you, how we use it, and to whom we disclose that information. By using our website https://www.volta-energysolutions.com (hereinafter: “Website”), communicating with us via e-mail, telephone or fax and/or by applying for a position with us via our Website or otherwise communicating with us in respect of our personnel recruitment process or about job opportunities at Volta, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

- Any notion starting with a capital shall be defined by explicit reference in this Privacy Policy. Where possible given the context, singular words shall be interpreted as also including the plural and vice versa. Any words importing gender shall include all genders.

Consistent with applicable law, you may exercise the rights described in this section. Please note that some of the rights may vary depending on your country or province of residence.

- You have the right to ask that any personal data pertaining to you that is inaccurate and be corrected free of charge. If a request for correction is submitted, we may ask that such request be accompanied bydocumentation evidencing the flawed nature of the data for which correction is asked.

However, you need to keep in mind that a request for deletion will be evaluated by Volta against:
- Overriding interests of Volta;
- Legal or regulatory obligations or administrative or judicial orders which may prevent such deletion.
Instead of deletion you can also ask that Volta limit the processing of your personal data if and when (a) you contest the accuracy of that data, (b) the processing is illegitimate or (c) the data is no longer needed for the purposes listed under clause 3 but you need them to defend yourself in judicial proceedings.
- You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if you demonstrate serious and justified reasons related to your particular circumstances that warrant such objection. However, if the intended processing qualifies as direct marketing, you have the right to object to such processing free of charge and without justification.
- You have the right to receive from us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format all personal data you have provided to us.
- If you wish to submit a request to exercise one or more of the rights listed above, you can send an e-mail to it@volta.com. An e-mail requesting to exercise a right shall not be construed as consent with the processing of your personal data beyond what is required for handling your request. Such request should clearly state which right you wish to exercise and the reasons for it if such is required. It should also be dated and signed, and accompanied by a digitally scanned copy of your valid identity card proving your identity. If you use the contact form, Volta may ask you for your signed confirmation and proof of identity.

Volta will promptly inform you upon receiving your request. If the request is deemed valid, Volta shall honour it as soon as reasonably possible, and no later than thirty (30) days after receiving the request.
